Description
Travelers often try to explore the city of Minsk, which has separate guided tours on this website, and miss the opportunity to explore its surroundings. And in vain, because the surrounding region is rich in sights that deserve attention.
We start the tour with a visit to the Church of St. Matthew in Raubichi. This is one of the most striking and remarkable sights of the region. The church, which has seen many trials, is today a unique museum demonstrating the rich heritage of the Belarusian people.
Next, we will visit the Mound of Glory, a memorial commemorating the heroism of Soviet soldiers, partisans and members of the underground who gave their lives during the Great Patriotic War.
In the village of Kolodishchi, we will be able to visit Julia Tadeusz's miracle rose garden, or the 'Snezhnaya Zaveya' Husky Park, where we will have an unforgettable encounter with charming pets.
In the agricultural town of Dukora, we will see the Church of St. Elijah, a stone temple created during the Russian Empire in the early 19th century, and we will be able to visit one of the most interesting interactive history museums in Belarus, 'Dukorsky Maentak'.
We will stop in the village of Malye Lyady and visit the Lyadensky monastery. It is a blessed and spiritual place with an interesting history, where dedication and love for God reign supreme.
Next, we will go to the village of Plisa, where we will get acquainted with the local landmark - the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin.
We will finish our trip in an atmospheric place with excellent nature of the Belarusian countryside. A full-scale stage of the Belarusfilm film studio awaits us!
