In this tour of the Molodechno region you will be able to visit many interesting places.
Cultural monuments have been preserved in the Molodechno district, memorials were created in honor of those who died in the Second World War.
As part of the tour, we will visit the town of Benitsa, located on the way between Smorgon and Molodechno. Today it has several monuments of antiquity. We will visit an 18th-century church, a 19th-century Orthodox church and several stone outbuildings made of rubble stone and brick from the former Kotellov estate.
In Lebedevo we will visit an ancient temple in a picturesque place and a tomb chapel, which is more than 100 years old!
In the town of Gorodilovo, we will see several historical sites: an ancient settlement on the outskirts of the village, a 19th-century stone Orthodox church and a 19th-century park left over from the Puzyanov estate.
We will stop in the city of Molodechno, where we will see the castle, the teachers' seminary, as well as the building of the railway station, built in 1907.
Many Belarusian writers were born and worked in Molodechno district. In Yakhimovshchina, the place where Yanka Kupala's creative career begins, we will visit the current museum of the great Belarusian poet.
Visiting these and other places on the route will give you vivid memories and help you feel the atmosphere of this region.
