Mogilev is a city with a rich history. There are many unknown and interesting places to be found here. Even many locals are unaware of the rich heritage of their city, but we will fix it! On this tour route you will be able to discover little-known and historically significant places of the city.

We will visit the area where local Jews live. Here we will see a preserved stone synagogue, built in the early 20th century. This building is a striking example of the architecture of that time. Let's go to the building where the Jewish Talmud-Torah School was.

We will also see the buildings of the former schools: the Jewish craft, the real and the diocesan women's schools, which today house modern educational institutions.

We'll find out where the one of the best hotels in the city in the 19th century is located, as well as see fragments of the pre-revolutionary city of Mogilev. Will see Pozharny Lane, where pre-revolutionary apartment buildings and hotels have been preserved. Here we will see the merchant's synagogue, the famous hotels "Metropol" and "Dneprovskaya". These buildings full of stories about the life of merchants and trade, preserve the atmosphere of the past and will allow us to imagine how the city lived in those days.

We will also find out which building housed the Mogilev Interdistrict NKVD School, and why the Mogilev House of Soviets was built.

In the floodplain of the Dubrovenka River, we will visit two Orthodox pre-revolutionary churches, one of which is the oldest in the city. These temples will tell us about the spiritual life of Mogilev over the centuries.

We will end our tour at the Catholic Polish cemetery of the 18th century. This place immerses us in an atmosphere of tranquility and respect for the memory of the departed.

You can also visit the Myshakovsky cemetery, where famous Mogilev nobles, priests and townspeople are buried.

You will learn about the rich history of the city. Embark on a journey through the unknown corners of Mogilev!
