Description

Miory district attracts tourists seeking new discoveries and impressions. This region is famous for its rich nature, historical monuments and unique museum exhibitions, which makes it an ideal place for sightseeing trips.

Miory district is rich in historical monuments that tell about its centuries-old history.

Let's start our tour from the very heart of the area — the city of Miory. Here we will visit a local landmark - the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary built in 1907. Later we will walk along the embankment near the church and take beautiful photos.

Next, we will go to the Novy Pogost. Here we will see the oldest architectural monument in the Miory district - the Trinity Church, and also visit the Church of St. Nicholas, where wooden sculptures of the XVII-XVIII centuries and icons of the XIX century are kept.

The next stop will be the village of Osada Dedino. The ruins of the Rudnitskys estate in the classical style have been preserved here, as well as the remains of a landscape park with a pond and several outbuildings made of rubble stone. Let's get into the spirit of that time...

Then we will head to Idolta, where we will see the Church of the Virgin Mary, which will remind us of a medieval castle. We will also visit the Milosh estate and the chapel-tomb of this family.

We will finish our tour at the magnificent waterfall on the Vyata River. This picturesque place will be a great place to end the day. You can enjoy the sounds of the water and the surrounding nature, as well as take beautiful photos for memory.
