On Victory Square, there is an opportunity to lay flowers at the Eternal Flame — to honor the memory of fallen heroes, to walk among the monumental architecture of the 1950s, feeling the solemnity of post-war Minsk. You can also go down to the underground gallery, where capsules with the earth of the hero cities are stored - a kind of vessels of memory and take memorable photos against the background of the obelisk, especially in the evening, when the artistic lighting is turned on.

This place preserves the memory of outstanding Belarusians — poets Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas are buried here, along with military, scientists and statesmen. Special attention is drawn to the Alexander Nevsky Church, built in 1898 in memory of the fallen in the Russian-Turkish War. The complex is located at the entrance to the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War and becomes the center of celebrations on May 9 and July 3. This is a place where you can honor the memory of heroes, take memorable photos and feel the spirit of Minsk's historical resilience.
