Kirov and Klichev districts: Zhilichi-Borki-Chigirinskoye reservoir-Usakino-Klichev.
Description
Our tour opens with the Zhilichi Palace, aka the Bulgak's estate, aka the "second Nesvizh", aka the "pearl of Mogilev region" - whatever this place is called. And quite rightly: the recently renovated architectural complex impresses with its beauty and scale!
Next, we will visit the memorial complex "In Memory of the burned villages of the Mogilev region" in the village of Borki, which is an open area with structures that immerse the people here in that terrible and tragic time. A chapel has been built here and a pedestal has been erected in memory of the burned villages of the Mogilev region, where 112 destroyed places are indicated.
The next location is the Chigirinskoye reservoir, a wonderful place for recreation and fishing, studying the history and spiritual culture of the local region, enjoying the beautiful nature and meeting interesting people.
Then we will see another memorial complex "Usakino" – a place that holds an important reminder of the Great Patriotic War, about the victims among the civilian population and the defenders of the country - combines monuments and real preserved objects of those times.
We conclude our tour in the "Guerrilla heart of Mogilev region" - that's what Klichev and its area are called. The "Monument to military Journalists" in this heroic region has become another symbol of heroism, bravery, self-sacrifice and selfless love for the Motherland.
We will also visit the museum here, a distinctive feature of which is the presence of an apothecary's garden with medicinal and rare plants. The history of the Klichev region is reflected in 9 exhibition halls of the museum.
All this and much more awaits you to meet interested and inquisitive tourists!
Come here and get to know the sights and beauties of these places better!
