Description
A guided tour of the Ivanovo Region will introduce you to the picturesque landscapes, history and culture of the area.
Let's start our tour in Molodovo, a small but picturesque village. In the very center of the village we will visit the ancient Resurrection Church. The wooden church, built in the 18th century as a Uniate church, is today a monument of Belarusian folk architecture.
Then we head to Motol. Here we will go on an excursion to the Motol Museum of Folk Art and get acquainted with local traditions and crafts, feeling the atmosphere of the Polesie hinterland.
The next point on our route is the city of Ivanovo, a small and cozy town. Representatives of different nations have long lived here, which is reflected in the architecture of the city. The Holy Cross Church and the Church of the Intercession, which we will be happy to visit, are considered the decoration and pride of the city.
After Ivanovo we go to Vorotsevichi. This is the birthplace of the composer and simply talented man Napoleon Orda, where the legacy he left and the memory of him are preserved. We will visit the museum complex, which includes an art gallery and a museum.
The final stage of our tour will be the village of Mokhro, where we will visit the ancient wooden temple in the form of a ship in the Uniate style - the Cathedral of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul and another local landmark - the Alexei Kuzmich art gallery. Art critics call him the Belarusian "Raphael". Let's admire the sublime portraits of women...
