Description
Grodno is one of the few cities in Belarus that has preserved its historical outline unchanged to the present day.
The city is rightfully proud of its rich historical and cultural heritage, preserved through the centuries.
Grodno attracts many tourists, offering them a unique opportunity to enjoy the architectural sights and experience the spirit of antiquity.
As part of this tour, you will visit:
- Gorodnitsa district with its sights, which used to be a suburb of Grodno and was created in the 18th century by Grodno mayor Anthony Tizengauz as a cultural and industrial center for fifteen hundred people designed by architects Johann Meser and Giuseppe Sacco;
- the ancient Gilibera Park, along with historical and cultural values, architectural monuments and an amusement park located in the so-called "Swiss Valley";
- 2 most interesting museums dedicated to famous personalities: Eliza Ozheshko and Maxim Bogdanovich, who lived here and thus glorified Grodno.
All this and much more awaits the meeting of interested and inquisitive tourists.
PS: Grodno is very rich in sights, and it is not possible to include them in the program of one day, so they are divided into several excursions that are available on this website.
