Unfortunately, the Chashniki district of the Vitebsk region cannot boast of an abundance of architectural monuments and notable places. Very few churches have survived on the territory of the district, which are in a deplorable state and a dilapidated manor house.

Of course, other architectural objects of interest can be found in the Chashniki district, but their number is very limited.


We will start our journey from the picturesque village of Ivansk, where we will explore the ruins of the Volodkovich estate. This place attracts attention with its history and atmosphere.


In the village of Brazdetskaya Sloboda, we will explore the ruins of the church of St. Nicholas.


We will stop in Chashniki to visit the Transfiguration Church, a significant monument of religious architecture of the 19th century, which preserves fragments of frescoes and ancient icons.


We will see a very unusual and memorable place, covered with legends and legends - the 'Serpent Stone' conglomerate in the village of Gogolevka.


In the villages of Pochaevichi and Belaya Tserkov, we will explore the ruins of local ancient churches.


We will finish our trip in the agro-town of Chereya. The main attractions here are the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in 1604, the house of the fire brigade of the late 19th century, the ancient settlement - an interesting historical place.
