A large expedition to the west of Belarus.
Description
A large expedition to the west of Belarus is a grandiose journey that will reveal to you all the richness and versatility of the western region of the country. This route will take you through centuries of great history, from the era of powerful princes and legendary battles to the tragic events of the 20th century.
You will see impressive architectural monuments: majestic Neo-Gothic churches, austere fortress castles, elegant palaces of the noble families of Sapieha, Puslovsky and Volovich, which are not called the "Belarusian Versailles" for nothing. You will touch the most ancient shrines, such as the 12th-century Kolozhskaya Church, and witness large-scale restorations restoring the ruins of Krevo and Ruzhany castles to their former glory.
The route passes through two regions — Grodno and Brest, each of which is unique. You will get acquainted with the grandiose fortifications: from the legendary Brest Hero Fortress to the kingdom of wild nature - Belovezhskaya Pushcha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Engineering wonders are also waiting for you, such as the Augustovsky Canal and the longest suspension bridge in Mosty.
This is a trip for those who want not just to see the sights, but to truly experience the spirit of Western Belarus, with its unique cultural code, heroic past and stunning natural landscapes.
