Our tour will introduce you to the main historical and cultural values and sights of the area.


We begin our journey in the village of Glusha, where the famous Belarusian writer Ales Adamovich (1926 – 1994), a writer, scientist, screenwriter, publicist, public figure, professor, Doctor of Philology, is buried in the local cemetery.

There is also an open-air ethnographic museum, where several ancient buildings and monuments were brought from neighboring towns: an Old Believer Orthodox church and a windmill from the 19th century, several peasant houses from the 19th to the 20th centuries.


Next, we will head to Bogushovka, where we will visit the Intercession Church, built in 1860 by the Old Believers in the traditions of Belarusian folk wooden architecture. 


The next location will be Telusha and the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, built in 1902 in a retrospective Russian style with the money of Count Pavel Arkadyevich Vorontsov-Velyaminov and his wife Natalia Alexandrovna Pushkina, who is the granddaughter of the poet Alexander Pushkin and whose grave is located next to the temple.


The next one on the route will be Turkovskaya Sloboda, where the Old Believers Intercession Church has been preserved, which was built in the early 20th century during the Russian Empire in the traditions of folk wooden architecture.


We are completing our tour in the Dubovsky Cascade of Lakes hydrological reserve, which was established to preserve the unique landscape of Belarus, as well as to create conditions for recreation and tourism.
