Bobruisk-Telusha-Krasny Bereg-Pridneprovsky.

Description

This eventful tour offers a unique journey through the Mogilev and Gomel regions, where destinies, architecture and memory are intertwined.

You will get acquainted with the "Jewish capital" of Belarus, admire the palace luxury and honor the memory of the victims of the war, completing the route on the picturesque banks of the Dnieper River.

The starting point will be Bobruisk, a city with a special flavor.

You will see the main synagogue, the former Noble Assembly and the fabulous wooden house of the merchant Katznelson. You will learn about the military past at the ruins of the mighty fortress of the XIX century and take a traditional photo for good luck with the bronze Shura Balaganov. The elegant Church of the Immaculate Conception and the austere White Church will continue the architectural dialogue.

In the village of Telusha, visit the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, built at the expense of Alexander Pushkin's granddaughter Natalia Vorontsova-Velyaminova, and honor her memory at the grave next to the temple.

Next, the path leads to the Kozell-Poklevski estate in Krasny Bereg, a fabulous castle with luxurious interiors. A sharp contrast will be a visit to the only memorial in the CIS to the "Children Victims of War", a poignant monument that tells about the tragedy of the Second World War.

The tour will end at the Pridneprovskaya ecotrope, where you can take a deep breath after powerful impressions.

A walk through the coniferous forest, views of the Dnieper cliffs and a healing spring will give you peace, and a unique ship-hotel will add romance if you arrange an overnight stay in it.

This route is an ideal way to learn more about the history and cultural diversity of eastern Belarus.
