Berezino-Rovanichi-Zhodino-Borisov-Zembin.

Description

We begin our journey by visiting the Pototski Estate, built in the late classicism style in 1858 on the banks of the Berezina River. Today it's an atmospheric mess that we have to explore carefully.

Next, we will visit Rovaničy. They have been known since 1535 as part of the Inc. In 1790, Andrey Slotvinsky became the owner of the estate. Today, only the ruined remains of the once-palace and castle complex remain here. The preservation of the estate leaves much to be desired, but there is still something to see: the palace, the outbuildings, the park. In 1799, Andrei Slotvinsky built the St. Anthony's Church on the estate. Now, unfortunately, only ruins remain.

Then we will go to Zhodino, a city with a rich history dating back to the 17th century. The first stop is the House Museum of the patriotic mother A. F. Kupriyanova, whose five sons died at the front. It helps to understand the scale of resistance and the courage of ordinary people, especially women, who sent their sons to the front.

Next, we will see the famous BelAZ, a global manufacturer of ultra-high-capacity dump trucks. At the exhibition site, we will take spectacular photos, feel the gigantic size of the machines and dare to climb into the cockpit. If desired, you can visit the production workshops, where you will learn about the assembly process of the largest dump truck in the world with a lifting capacity of 450 tons.

Then we will visit Borisov and immerse ourselves in the city's past, appreciate its architectural heritage. We will visit key places of the city: the Resurrection Cathedral, the earthen batteries of 1812, the estate-house of I. H. Kolodeev and other significant monuments.

We will complete the route with a visit to Zembin. This is a small but very ancient place in the Borisov district. Here we will see the architectural dominant of the village - a powerful abandoned church, and also visit the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in the retrospective Russian style, built in 1904.
